Montpelier Road Ealing
Montpelier Road is situated to the North of Ealing Broadway in the ‘Montpelier Park’ conservation area. The area is characterised by tree lined streets, wide plots and large detached Edwardian Villas.
Number 10 is typical of the properties and buildings within the conservation area. It was built in the 1890’s as a single dwelling and has many original features.
The Scheme
The house was converted to a Primary School in the 1950’s and operated as such until it was purchased in 2013 for restoration and the extension to create a luxurious and spacious family home.
The work involved the complete reconstruction of the buildings internal structure and the addition of a new 3 storey gabled extension to the rear as well as significant repairs and upgrades to the existing building fabric and new hard and soft landscaping. The interior design was undertaken by Clare Norrish Interior Design Ltd
